Things to Do with Kids in Ciudad Quesada

Ciudad Quesada has several family activities that can keep children entertained without having to drive to the coast or spend every day beside the swimming pool. Whether you’re visiting on holiday or live in the area, there are options for younger children, teenagers and families who want to do something together.

From the summer water park to mini golf, bowling and go-karting, here are the main things to do with kids in Ciudad Quesada, along with a few ideas for making the most of your time in the area.

AquaPark Rojales

AquaPark Rojales is one of the main attractions for families staying in Ciudad Quesada. The park has water slides, children’s pools, a larger swimming pool and areas where you can take a break between rides. There is also a restaurant and café, so you can stay for several hours rather than having to leave for lunch.

It is particularly suited to summer visits, when the children want somewhere to cool off and spend a good part of the day in the water. Younger children can enjoy the smaller attractions, while older children can try the bigger slides, subject to the park’s restrictions.

The park operates seasonally during the summer holidays in Spain, so check opening dates and prices before visiting.

Quesada Mini Golf

Mini golf is a good fun time if you want a family activity that doesn’t need much planning. You can play a round together, keep score and see who manages to finish with the fewest shots.

It works well for mixed ages because children don’t need previous experience, and adults can join in rather than simply watching. You can also fit it around other plans, making it a useful option for an hour or two rather than a full-day outing.

Quesada Mini Golf also has a bar and restaurant attached so you can grab snacks and a drinks.

Go-Karts Ciudad Quesada

For children who love anything with wheels, Go-Karts Ciudad Quesada offers a more energetic outing. The venue has separate circuits for adults and children, with different kart options depending on age and eligibility.

There are also children’s amusements, including inflatables and trampolines, along with a bar and restaurant. That gives families more to do than simply arrive, race and leave. Birthday parties are another option worth investigating if you’re organising a celebration.

Check the current age and height requirements, prices and availability before booking. there are 2 tracks and different kart powers for all ages.

Quesada Bowling

When it’s too hot to spend much time outside, or the family fancies an evening activity, Quesada Bowling is worth considering.

Bowling gives children and adults something to do together without needing any particular sporting ability. Split into teams, keep score and let the children try to beat the grown-ups. It can also work well for a family group with children of different ages.

Because it is an indoor activity, it gives you another option when the weather doesn’t suit the water park or outdoor games.

Explore Parque El Recorral

If you want a family day out that doesn’t revolve around paying for an attraction, Parque El Recorral is well worth considering.

Its a short work from the town with green spaces, offering a change from the built-up streets of Ciudad Quesada. It has walking paths, ponds, picnic spots and plenty to look at along the way. It is a good place to slow things down after a busy few days of organised activities.

Children can look out for birds and other wildlife, explore the paths and enjoy the outdoor space while adults get a break from the usual holiday routine. The wooden animal sculptures dotted around the park also give younger visitors something to look for as they walk.

Pack some snacks or a picnic if you want to stay longer. It’s an easy way to make an inexpensive morning or afternoon out of a place that doesn’t require everyone to be entertained every minute.

The park is best enjoyed outside the hottest part of the day during summer. Take water, sun protection and suitable footwear.

Activities Outside Of Quesada

There is plenty to do outside of Quesada. Rojales town centre has lots of history to look at along the river that runs through the centre.

You can also head to the beach. Guardamar is the closest beach to Quesada and is a 10 min drive away. At Guardamar there is a promenade, a sports centre, shops and more parks. the beach also has play areas with climbing frames.

A short drive into Torrevieja will give you even more to do with the kids. We have a guide to Torrevieja with kids that will keep them busy your whole trip.
