Bowling in Torrevieja - Where to Go Bowling

Fancy a game of bowling in Torrevieja? You actually have more choice than you might think.

There are now three different places to go bowling in the city, and they aren’t all quite the same. The original Ozone bowling centre has a much bigger setup with 20 lanes, the new Paseo del Mar centre puts bowling right by the port, and the Habaneras venue has gone for something a little different with Duckpin bowling.

That makes bowling an easy option when you are looking for something to do with the children, meeting up with friends or simply want something to do one evening when sitting around at home isn’t particularly appealing.

Here is what you can expect from each one and what makes them different.

Quick comparison

Bowling centre Lanes Bowling type Price* Best for

Ozone Habaneras 4 Duckpin €4 Families & something different

Ozone Bowling Torrevieja

Ozone Bowling Torrevieja

If you are looking for the traditional bowling experience, the Ozone centre on Avenida Rosa Mazón Valero is the biggest of the three.

There are 20 bowling lanes, along with arcade and sports machines, simulators and the Nicky’s Snack Bar. It has been part of Torrevieja’s entertainment scene for many years and is still the place to head if you want a proper bowling night rather than just a quick game.

Ozone Bowling Torrevieja Lanes

It is also the bowling centre to know about if you are interested in bowling as more than something to do occasionally.

Ozone Bowling Torrevieja Games

Competitive bowling takes place here, with Torrevieja having an established bowling community and local teams competing at different levels. The centre has also hosted national competitions, including AECB and Spanish bowling events.

Ozone Bowling Torrevieja Nicky's Bar

For most families, though, you don’t need to be a serious bowler to enjoy it. You can simply turn up, get your shoes on and play a game.

The centre currently lists bowling at €3 on Mondays, including shoe hire, €4 from Tuesday to Friday plus €1 shoe hire on the first game, and €5.50 at weekends, holidays and holiday eves.

The current opening hours are 12pm until midnight from Sunday to Thursday, and until 1am on Friday and Saturday. That makes it particularly useful if you are looking for something to do in Torrevieja in the evening.

Where: Avenida Rosa Mazón Valero, Torrevieja.

Ozone Bowling at Paseo del Mar

Paseo Del Mar Torrevieja Ozone

The newest place to go bowling in Torrevieja is at the new Paseo del Mar leisure centre by the port.

This one is quite different from the main Ozone centre. It has six bowling lanes rather than 20, and the whole place has a more compact feel. The lanes are described by Ozone as high-tech boutique lanes, with interactive simulators and Nicky’s Bar Café also forming part of the venue.

Paseo Del Mar Torrevieja Ozone Bowling Lanes

Along with the bowling there are lots of games and simulators that will keep the kids entertained. For the adults there is also a few pool tables in Nicky’s bar for a more chilled out hang out spot.

Paseo Del Mar Torrevieja Ozone Inside

The location is probably the biggest attraction if you are already spending time around the waterfront. You are right by the port, so bowling can easily be part of an evening rather than the entire plan.

You could have something to eat, go for a walk around the port and then have a game, or do it the other way around.

It is also open late. The current hours are 12pm to midnight from Sunday to Thursday and 12pm to 1am on Friday and Saturday. Bowling is currently €4 per game Monday to Friday and €5.50 at weekends, with €1 shoe hire on the first game.

One thing worth knowing before you go is that Ozone currently says the lanes at Paseo del Mar cannot be reserved, so if you are planning a visit at a particularly busy time, it is worth allowing for that.

Where: Paseo del Mar Leisure Centre, P.º Dique de Levante, 4, second floor, Torrevieja.

Ozone Bowling at Habaneras

Torrevieja Ozone City Entrance

Then there is the newer and rather different option inside Habaneras Shopping Centre.

This is not a smaller version of the main Ozone centre. It uses Duckpin bowling, which changes the experience quite a bit.

There are four Duckpin lanes and the balls are smaller and don’t have finger holes. The pins are also smaller, and players get three attempts per turn rather than the two used in conventional ten-pin bowling.

That makes it an interesting choice if you have children who find normal bowling balls a bit awkward, or if you simply fancy trying something different.

The Habaneras centre also has simulators and arcade-style games, so bowling doesn’t have to be the only thing you do while you are there.

Torrevieja Ozone City Arcade Games

A game currently costs €4, and the opening hours are 4pm to 11pm Monday to Friday and 12pm to 11pm on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Where: 2nd Floor, Habaneras Shopping Centre, Avenida Rosa Mazón Valero, 7, Torrevieja.

Which bowling centre is best for families?

There isn’t really a single answer because the three venues are aimed at slightly different experiences.

If the children are excited about bowling and you want the traditional setup with lots of lanes and other games around it, the main Ozone centre is the obvious option.

If you are already around the centre of Torrevieja and want to combine bowling with an evening around the port, Paseo del Mar is a completely different proposition. The location makes it particularly easy to turn a game of bowling into part of a bigger evening.

Habaneras is worth considering if the children are younger or you want to try Duckpin bowling. The smaller balls and pins make it different from the bowling most people will have played before.

For younger children, the main Ozone centre also offers bumpers, subject to its current conditions, which can make the game much less frustrating when they are still learning how to get the ball anywhere near the pins.

Bowling in Torrevieja in the evening

Bowling works surprisingly well as an evening activity because you don’t have to organise an entire night around it.

A game can be the reason for going out, or just something you add to the evening.

For families, that could mean bowling after dinner or fitting in a game before heading home. For adults, it works just as well for meeting friends when you want something a little more active than sitting in a bar.

The main Ozone centre and Paseo del Mar both stay open until midnight from Sunday to Thursday and until 1am on Friday and Saturday. Habaneras closes earlier at 11pm.

So if you are specifically looking for late-night bowling in Torrevieja, the two larger venues are the ones to look at.

Bowling leagues and competitions in Torrevieja

Bowling in Torrevieja isn’t just about family games and birthday parties.

There is a genuine competitive bowling scene here, centred around the main Ozone bowling centre.

The city has an established club scene, and the Club Euro Bowling Torrevieja has competed in regional, national and other organised competitions. Recent AECB records also show Ozone Bowling Torrevieja being used for organised league and tournament play.

That gives the main centre a different atmosphere on competition days, particularly if you happen to visit when league or tournament bowling is taking place.

In fact, Torrevieja continues to appear on the national bowling calendar, with the AECB listing major tournaments at Ozone Bowling Torrevieja during 2026.

So if you have got a little more serious about your bowling, there is an established route beyond simply playing the occasional game with friends.

How much does bowling cost in Torrevieja?

Prices can change, but the current prices listed by Ozone give you a useful idea of what a game costs.

At the main Ozone Bowling Torrevieja centre, the current price is €3 on Mondays with shoe hire included, €4 from Tuesday to Friday plus €1 shoe hire on the first game, and €5.50 on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and holiday eves.

Paseo del Mar currently charges €4 Monday to Friday and €5.50 at weekends, with €1 shoe hire on the first game.

Habaneras is currently €4 per game every day.

It’s worth checking the current prices before setting off, particularly around holidays, as these can change.

Bowling is a good option when its raining or to hot

One of the nice things about having several bowling options in Torrevieja is that it gives you something to do when you don’t fancy being outside.

The summer heat can make a long afternoon outdoors less appealing, while the cooler months can throw up the occasional wet or windy day when the beach isn’t really an option.

Bowling solves that problem without needing to plan a full day out.

And because the three venues are spread across different parts of the city, you don’t necessarily have to travel across Torrevieja just to play a game.

Three places to go bowling in Torrevieja

So, if bowling is on your list of things to do in Torrevieja, there are now three choices:

Ozone Bowling Torrevieja – the big 20-lane centre with bowling, arcade games, simulators and a snack bar. This is also the main venue for organised competitive bowling.

Ozone Bowling Torrevieja

Ozone Bowling City Paseo del Mar – the newest option, with six modern lanes overlooking the port. A good fit if you want bowling to be part of an evening around the waterfront.

Paseo Del Mar Torrevieja Ozone

Ozone Bowling City Habaneras – the smaller four-lane Duckpin bowling centre, with a different style of bowling and other games inside Habaneras.

Torrevieja Ozone City Entrance

That is quite a lot of choice for one city, and it means you can pick the best location based on what sort of evening you have in mind rather than simply going to the nearest bowling alley.

If you’re looking for something to do with the kids, a night out with friends or just want to try your hand at bowling in Torrevieja, there is now an option in the city for all three.

For other activities you can do with the kids in Torrevieja I have put together a local guide.

For the adults I also have a guide for things you can do in Torrevieja without the kids.
