Orange Padel Orihuela Costa - Courts, Booking, Shop & Menu
Orange Padel sits near Playa Flamenca in Orihuela Costa, just a short drive from Torrevieja. It’s become one of the more popular places to play in the area, with eight outdoor courts, racket hire, a small shop, bar, and restaurant where people hang around after games.
The club attracts a mix of locals, international residents, and holidaymakers. Daytimes is mostly about the matches and a quick coffee between games. In the evening it feels a bit more relaxed, with music, drinks and people staying on after they’ve finished playing.
The courts and facilities
There are eight outdoor courts, seven for doubles and one for singles. They use artificial grass, the same surface you see on the World Padel Tour, and a couple of the courts have extra space outside the glass so you can still play the balls that bounce out, making for a much more entertaining match to watch.
There are male and female toilets and changing rooms with showers available, which is handy if you’re heading somewhere afterwards or just want to freshen up after a game.
Booking a court
The simplest way to book a court is online through their website or the MATCHi app. It’s worth booking ahead, especially in the busier months. You can also book in person, however chances are you won’t be able to turn up and play. The courts are often booked days in advance.
If you are looking to play there and then without a booking, your best bet is to choose a warmer part of the day. It’s not the most ideal time to play. but the cooler early mornings and evenings are when it is busiest.
Racket hire and shop
You don’t need to bring a racket or balls. Racket hire is available in the club house and works great for beginners or anyone who’s just here on holiday. There is a small fee for rental of the rackets but this is perfect if you are just starting out and don’t know if you want to commit to buying a racket yet.
When you do eventually get to the point you want to buy a racket (which you probably will) Orange Padel has a well equipped shop that’s sells everything from Padel rackets, to grips and cloths.
Food and the bar
Orange Padel has a bar and restaurant that serves food and drinks throughout the day. In the morning they serve a continental buffet with a selection of sandwiches, toasties, and baguettes.
From 12:30pm the kitchen opens where you can get a larger selection of food. The restaurant closes at 9:30pm.

What’s the atmosphere like?
It’s social without trying too hard. English and Spanish are both used, and there’s a clear Scandinavian presence. Daytime is more practical, people come for their booking or activity and often grab a coffee or snack. Evenings feel more relaxed, with people staying around for a drink and a chat rather than rushing off. There is a very nice chilled and relaxed vibe.
There is lots of outdoor seating with umbrellas to give some well needed shade during the hottest parts of the day.
Social games
You don’t need to be experienced to play. They offer regular social sessions like Pay & Play, Americano and Winners Court. Tournaments pop up too. If you’re on your own or don’t have a regular group, it’s worth asking what’s on while you’re there, it’s often the easiest way to get games.
The pay and play sessions team you up with other people that don’t have partners. its a good way to meet new people
