How It Works
Ok so I have visited The Champions burger here is what to expect.
Entrance is free and very busy. In the centre is your beer tent the prices are on the expensive side with a half of Heineken to be €4.50 (50CL) and bottled water €2.00. (And yes I know it says its €3.50)
Surrounding the beer tent in the middle is tables and chairs, lots of them in rows. You will 100% be sharing like it or not.
Scattered in-between are sauce stands. So you can grab extra mayo, ketchup and napkins. (They will be needed.)
The Toilets are located at the back. (There are lots of them.)
The Burger Trucks
All the burger trucks are around the outside of the space. There is lots as I mentioned in the first half of the post.
Don’t go for the first truck you see when you walk in. There are lots of others and the queues can be long on the first few.
When you join a que someone will come and take payment whilst you wait. A very clever tactic to keep you in line and not joining a shorter line. I waited about 10 minutes in the queue, but it was Probably the busiest of all trucks. (The chefs are all cooking burgers none stop.)
All burgers are sold on there own you do not get fries they are sold separately and its another queue to join. They cost €4.00. Personally I would skip the Fries bring your own drink and go for a second burger. They was a little cold and I wasn’t that impressed.
Not Wanting Burgers?
There Is a Chicken burger stall, but that is not part of the competition. They also sell 2 types of wings.
If You are a Veggie they sell Fries and if you are a Vegan, you may just want to stay at home.
Desserts
There are are 2 dessert trucks 1 sells doughnuts the other Crème Brule (I think).
I almost Forgot To mention Pepsi are doing free shots of 2 new flavours. Pepsi Cherry And Pepsi Lime.
Things To Do
There are 3 gaming tents. 1 with retro arcade games and pinball. the other plays Football on playstation and the other has car racing.
For the very little ones there is a drop off where they can draw, paint etc.
What You are Here For! The Food
I went with the DAK Burger, they do look very good and is close to one of my favourite burgers I have had in Spain so far. But there are many stalls I haven’t tried so my favourite could be knocked off top spot.
The best I have had is at Voraz in Quesada.
A very handy tip I would strongly recommend is to have the website open on your phone. If you don’t speak Spanish, you may struggle with knowing what is in the burgers, so translating the website is your fastest option, especially if you have any allergies.
