Terms of Service for Social Media Giveaway

1. Sponsor

This giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by The Costas, located at https://thecostas.es (“Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to businesses legally operating in Spain.

Participants must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to represent the business.

Employees, affiliates, or immediate family members of the Sponsor are not eligible.

No purchase or payment is required to enter or win.

3. Entry Period

The Giveaway begins on 1/8/25 at 00:01 CEST and ends on 15/8/25 at 11:59 CEST . Entries submitted outside this period will be considered and dates may be extended.

4. How to Enter

Sign up to have your business listed on https://thecostas.es.

Like the official Giveaway post on Facebook at @TheCostas.es.

Each business is limited to one (1) application/entry.

Entries must comply with Facebook’s community guidelines and these Terms.

Businesses may cancel their website listing at any time without penalty.

5. Prize

Five (5) businesses will be selected at random to receive a free social media campaign consisting of five (5) posts per week for one month on Facebook.

Winners must supply images for use in the campaign, which will include a small logo promoting the Sponsor’s brand.

Additional posts beyond the five per week can be purchased at the Sponsor’s standard rates.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Total approximate retail value of all prizes: €200 EUR.

Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries on or about 7th August.

Winners will be notified via email provided during website signup and/or direct message on Facebook within 3 days of selection.

Winners must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize, providing requested verification (e.g., business details and campaign images).

If a winner does not respond, fails to provide suitable images, or is ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Image Usage and Branding

By entering, winners agree to provide high-quality images suitable for the social media campaign.

Sponsor will add a small logo to the images to promote The Costas. Winners consent to this branding.

Provided images must not infringe on any third-party rights (e.g., copyright, trademark).

Sponsor is not liable for any claims arising from the use of images provided by winners.

8. Optional Paid Services

No payment is required to enter or win the Giveaway.

Winners or participants may choose to fully sign up for the Sponsor’s social media management services, which require payment.

Additional posts beyond the five per week included in the prize can be purchased at the Sponsor’s standard rates.

9. Publicity

By entering, participants grant Sponsor permission to use their business name, logo, provided images, and entry content for promotional purposes on The Costas and https://thecostas.es without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

10. General Conditions

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or technical issues related to The Costas or https://thecostas.es.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Terms, provides infringing or inappropriate images, or engages in fraudulent or harmful behaviour.

The Giveaway is subject to all applicable Spanish laws and void where prohibited.

Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair its integrity.

11. Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, [The Costas], and their affiliates, officers, and employees from any liability, claims, damages, or losses arising from or related to participation, prize use, or the Giveaway, including but not limited to issues with image usage, social media campaign performance, or negative ramifications (e.g., reputational or financial harm).

12. Privacy

Personal or business information collected during website signup or Giveaway administration will be used solely for Giveaway purposes and will not be shared with third parties, except as needed to fulfil prizes or comply with legal obligations.

Participants can cancel their website listing at any time, and their data will be handled in accordance with https://thecostas.es.
