A Guide To Greenlands Blue Lagoon Crazy Golf
A round of mini golf followed by lunch on a sunny terrace makes for a lovely way to spend a few hours on the Costa Blanca. Greenlands Blue Lagoon, in San Miguel de Salinas, is a little different from the small crazy golf courses you might find along the seafront. Its 18-hole course covers a large outdoor area, with varied holes, themed features and plenty to keep both adults and children entertained.
There is a restaurant and shaded terrace on site too, so you can sit down for something to eat or drink after your game as well as a games room. Whether you are planning a family afternoon, a bit of friendly competition with friends or simply fancy trying something different from the beach, Greenlands Blue Lagoon is worth adding to your list of things to do.
The course takes around an hour to an hour and a half to complete, making it a proper outing rather than a quick game.
What is the mini golf course like?
The first thing to know is the size of the course. Greenlands Blue Lagoon has 18 holes across a large outdoor area, with artificial grass and a layout that mixes mini golf with elements of a longer putting course.
The holes vary in length and design, so you are not simply repeating the same shot over and over. Some are more straightforward, while others need a little more thought about the angle and strength of your putt. There are themed holes too, including a pirate ship that players putt through and a hole involving a snake.
I played here as a group of 4, 2 adults and 2 children one was a teenager and he loved the varity of the ciusrse as very well entertained the youngest struggled a little on the harder holes but over all really enjoyed playing.
How long does a round take?
Allow around 60 to 90 minutes for a full round of 18 holes. Your actual playing time will depend on the size of your group and how busy the course is.
If you are visiting with young children, it is a good idea to allow some extra time rather than planning something immediately afterwards as it can take longer.
How long does a round take?
Yes, although the size of the course is worth keeping in mind. There are putters in three sizes, so children can use clubs that are more comfortable for them, and golf balls and putters are included in the price.
There is also a practice putting green where you can have a few putts before starting the full course. This is particularly handy for children who have never played before, and gives everyone a chance to get used to the clubs.
Older children and teenagers will definitely enjoy trying to beat the adults, while younger ones may be more interested in the different holes and themed ones. Either way, it is a good outdoor activity for families who want a change from the beach or swimming pools.

The Restaurant and Terrace at Greenlands Blue Lagoon
You don’t need to play a round of mini golf to enjoy Greenlands. There is a very cool bar and restaurant that you can eat and drink in. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes for food are good.
The veggie Paella is meant to be very good I didn’t personally try it I went for the pulled pork burger which was very good.
You don’t have to go for a full meal, you can get sandwiches as well.
The bar/restaurant is very cool and modern. I did also take a sneak peak in the kitchen which looked very big and clean.
Is it worth buying a mini golf and food package?
it really depends on what you want to eat. The game, food combo is a set menu so you will have to check what is included before choosing that as an option. The kitchen does close earlier than Greenlands as a whole, so don’t leave it until the very end to order food. Get in early.
A Few Things to Know Before You Visit
- Allow enough time: A round usually takes about an hour to an hour and a half.
- Suitable equipment is provided: Putters and golf balls are included, with different club sizes available.
- Consider a food package: If you plan to eat at the restaurant, compare the combined options with the price of a round on its own.
- Check the latest prices and hours: The website is the best place to start, or call the venue if you have a specific question.
Is Greenlands Blue Lagoon Worth a Visit?
If you enjoy mini golf, Greenlands Blue Lagoon offers more than a quick round. The 18-hole course has enough variety to keep adults and older children interested, while the practice green and different club sizes help make it accessible to beginners.
It is also a good option if you want to get out of the house or away from the beach for a while. You can play a round, have something to eat and spend time on the shaded terrace without needing to plan several separate stops.
For families, couples or a group of friends, it is a place to consider when you are looking for things to do near VillaMartin, Cabo Roig, Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa. Just allow enough time for the full course if you are going to play.
What Else To Do At Greenlands?
Greenlands has a games room that has 3 pool tables, an electronic darts board, and table football.
You do have to pay for the pool table, darts and table football separately but it is a cool place to hang out with friends if you don’t want to sit in the apartment.
